    This listing is for a vintage "CROWN" (New York) alto saxophone mouthpiece "MADE BY THE WOODWIND CO.". It has a "Patent Process" number stamped lightly on the side. This mouthpiece has a very large round chamber, and deeply scooped inner side walls. It is made of hard rubber, not plastic. It is stamped "B5" on the table, and the actual tip opening measurement is .058". That is pretty close, so you will need to use a relatively stiff reed on it. This piece is in good used condition. There are some light nicks/scuffs on the table, but the tip and side rails are perfectly smooth, and original. There are no tooth indentations on the beak. It has been cleaned/sanitized.
