  • Condition: Both steins are in very good, clean, well cared for pre-owned condition with light signs of age. The lids fit snugly with no bends in the hinges. There is some light wear on the hammered top side of each lid in comparison to the interior of the lid that looks amazingly shiny. No chips or cracks to the ceramic. The bottom surface of one mug has some shallow popped bubbles from the pottery kiln (sixth photo).

    Description

    Pair of matching vintage Budweiser Champion Clydesdales, St. Louis MO beer steins were issued in 1976.
    Made in Brazil by Ceramarte. The Anheuser-Busch world famous Clydesdales are illustrated
    on these unique full relief steins, traveling around the body. An added feature is the distinctive
    hammered pewter convex lid and rounded thumb rest. Each stein has an orange rim around
    the top of the ceramic.  Bottoms are marked "Ceramarte Made In Brazil".
    They hold a capacity of 18 fluid ounces each and have an impressionable weight to them.
    One stein weighs
    1 pound 9.3 ounces and the other weighs 1 pound 12.7 ounces.
    They are just under 6" high to the top of the thumb rest.
