Vintage Butterfly Shadow Box Mounted Taxidermy Entomology Papilio Blumei Peacock

Beautiful butterfly mounted in an octagonal wooden shadow box. It is Papilio Blumei from New Guinney as indicated on the back. It seems that it has a touch of dust inside, I am not sure, please see the pictures and look carefully. Was in my family for about 25 years if not more. Hang on a wall for the whole time. Has a hole on the back to hang. Beautiful frame made of what looks like oak. Will look gorgeous in a country home. The box is just under 8" x 8" x 1.25". Wingspan at the widest point is about 4.25". Looks like it's more blue than other people's. Very rare unusual item compared to other's. My mom's friend collected butterflies from around the world and hand made these frames a very, very long time ago.
