    his listing is for a vintage alto saxophone mouthpiece. There is no brand name, nor any other markings on it. It is very similar to the old stock Buescher mouthpieces, and to both new and old Rascher pieces, but I'm not sure that it actually is one of those. The shank looks very similar, but a little more bulbous.
    This mouthpiece is made of hard rubber, not plastic. It
    has deeply scooped inner side walls, and
    a very large round chamber
    . It has a roll over baffle, so it is not bland/tubby sounding as are most old large chamber pieces (which usually have no baffle at all). The tip opening measures .060", and the facing is in original condition.

    s in very good condition. The facing is perfectly smooth, and there are no tooth indentations on the beak. It has been cleaned/sanitized.
