    his listing is for a lightly used Selmer (Paris) S80 "D" mouthpiece for alto saxophone. The S80 is widely regarded as one of the best all around mouthpieces for intermediate to advanced level players. This piece is ideally suited for all varieties of 'legit' music, such as concert/symphonic band, orchestra, sax quartet/chamber ensemble, and solo classical performance. It will also work for jazz and contemporary styles in a pinch. The D facing is slightly wider than the more common C*. This allows for a bit more dynamic flexibility, but it is still easy to control when playing softly
    This one is in excellent used condition.
    The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth, and there are no tooth indentations on the beak. It has had a detailed cleaning to remove calcification, and has been sanitized. The logo and other markings are very clear. There are some minor exterior scratches, but that's about it. Also included are the cap and ligature shown, both of which are in excellent condition as well.
    These sell for around 0 for a brand new one on ebay, and the cost at a brick and mortar music store is much higher. This is a great chance to get a high quality, as good as new Selmer mouthpiece at a significant savings compared to the cost of a brand new one!
