WWII Veteran bring back from the Philippines.
This is a defunct, obsolete WWII era Philippine Municipal Police Sergeant Badge
from San Fernando, in the province of Pampanga.
The badge has the Philippine Coat of Arms with the words "Commonwealth of the Philippines", under it indicating it was issued when still under U.S. rule.
This motto and Coat of Arms were only used between 1935-1946, with the exception of WWII Japanese Occupation of the islands.
Reverse has a pin with a "C" clasp, no maker marks
