    Description

From my research this particular sign was created for markets or local grocery stores in the greater NY area in the early 1940's. It has the original wood molded frame that was used to house the metal sign and hang it. I have had the sign for over 25 years and purchased it at the Pasadena Rose bowl. In the past I have seen one other online that had a similar wood paneled frame. If you google "antique Pepsi hits the spot" you can see some variants of this sign on Pepsi historical sites.
You will not see this exact sign. I previously was told there were around 10 made without the $.05 logo for east coast grocers that distributed Pepsi Cola. I have yet to find a photo of one of these stores with the sign out front.
This is extremely rare without the $.05 cent logo. It is marked with the M-26 1 stamp in lower left front could signify year and/or the location the sign was designated for.
8 feet x 4 feet. No holes. Pick up in Los Angeles and/or provide shipping service.
