This listing is for a vintage Martin large chamber alto saxophone mouthpiece. This is the type of stock mouthpiece that would have come with a Martin alto in the 1920's. The design is typical of that era. It has a very large round chamber, and deeply scooped inner side walls. It is made of hard rubber, not plastic. It is stamped 2 on the table, and the actual tip opening measures in at .052". It is in excellent condition. The facing (tip, table, and rails) is smooth, and there are no tooth indentations on the beak. The rubber is slightly discolored/faded from age, and there are some ligature scratches on the top of the body. It has been cleaned/sanitized.

    Note to international buyers:
Due to the current global pandemic, international shipments via USPS mail are experiencing significant delays. This is due to lack of available transportation (ie. mail is normally carried overseas as cargo on commercial passenger flights, however the flight schedules have been slashed). European buyers have experienced wait times of up to 2 months for shipments to arrive. If this potential wait presents a problem for you, please refrain from purchasing at this time. I sincerely apologize for this, unfortunately unavoidable, inconvenience.
