4 3/4 inch Silurian eurypterid from bertie fm, new york - eurypterus remipes

Description

This is a 4 3/4 inch (from paddle to paddle tip) eurypterus remipes from the Bertie Formation in Ilion, New York. This specimen has both paddles but is lacking the last couple segments and telson. The serrated mouth plates (coxa) are in place and highly visible.
From head to last body segment this is 3.5 inches long.
